my not so fine 409 Hey everyone, Dont hate me but this is my first total frame of restoration. This is a 2 years old photo. Now if I can only sell one of my extra cars to finish this one. Kinda become like kids after a while dont they?
Here's my '77 Mercury Grand Marquis. I got it for a song, and it's in pretty mint shape! Only thing is that the 460 isn't very mileage friendly, so the car has been sitting for a little over a year. I've got plans to make it a nice cruiser, but only if the money knocks on the door. If someone knocks on my door and offers me money for it, I'd let it go, too...
Here's my summer car... or what was my summer car up until last summer, which was the last summer I drove it. ou: '63 Chrysler, 2dr H/T, 361 w/ cam, intake, carb, duals, pushbutton, 8 3/4 w/2.76s. She's a fun one, but she needs to go (see sig.).
Got some of my old car, none of my winter beater yet. Nothing great to look at anyways, its incredibly rusty, oh well it runs great. Well heres some of my 85 caprice, got pretty attached to it, it was a good first car. Just a shame what happened to it... :ball: :ball: :ball:
old car 2 Man I hate looking at pics of that car, it was nice. And had flowmasters! Well take a look what happened...:ball: :ball: :ball: :ball: :ball:
Ha yea, thats what happened when I was parked on a hill and the guy feel asleep behind the wheel (was on medication, wasnt supposed to be driving). But on the plus side I was really lucky, I was just about to go move it, I probably would have died if I was in the car due to wiplash. I was right there when it happened, what a terrible sound. Man I'll never forget that day, or date, June 3rd 2003. I just started weeping, one of those first car things I guess. From then on whenever I was at my girlfriends if there wasnt room in their driveway I parked on the lawn or their neighbor was nice enough to say I could park in his driveway. Well thought Id tell me story. Joe
Keith , You did use a metal bit to put the port holes in , Right ?? o No: :Brow: :TU: Pictures of portholes ............... Coming soon o No: Sweet Ride !!!!!:bglasses:
K, here is a porthole shot Porthole shot I also have to say I amazed the neighbors the other day when I brought home an antique bedroom set in it. They couldn't believe I pulled a dresser, chest of drawers, vanity with bench, headboard and footboard, wood siderails and slats and a mirror for both the dresser and vanity out of the Rendezvous. Oh, a rocker also. Just love this vehicle!!
This is a photo of my 68' IH 908 when I bought it. Since then I have put on factory 15x7 chrome IH wheels with 255/70/15 tires on it, and took off those awful mudflaps. It is in storage right now so I can't get a better photo. I hope to get to work on this after the Buick gets done. Last summer I put 5000 miles driving it to work (I got 14mpg). I also have a 92 rusty nissan sentra(35mpg work car) and 99 chevy Z-71 (boat puller), but they aren't worth taking photos of.
Just updating my other cars... got a job an hour and a half away from home making decent money and decided that I should probably get a new car... got rid of the Honda and became a REAL ricer... but at least its sorta quick. Just to quell the questions, the reason I got this over the equally quick Cobra is RWD vs. AWD... I drive a bit too much in poor weather and end up stuck in pretty bad snow storms that I certainly wouldn't have gotten out of in a RWD, 390hp/ftlb car. And it does pretty well in the snow...
