Need some help to find a professional that's good at paint repair. Prefer a resto shop, not a regular bodyshop. Need some shop to give me an estimate to repair/fix it so I can submit to my insurance. I have American Collectors and they're very good on claims. Not looking for a deal, just top quality. Any leads appreciated. It's inside the enclosed trailer so can move around to get estimates.

Unfortunately my Ramrod was up on the lift when the garage door was opened scraping it severely on the peaks beside the rear window. Just painted professionally this past summer (for the first time)..Made me sick when it happened. That makes 2 engines and this paint damage in the last few months here.

    Thanks in advance..

Thanks for the leads on PM's.

I had a different person come over to look at the oil leak that kept me out of MCACN and he put the lift higher than I have been for the last year an a half since I got it. Going to relocate it to ensure this won't ever happen again.

He primarily came over to check the engine on the 66 that we hurt at Stanton. After fixing that hole in the exhaust port on #2 that was causing the coolant leak into #2 cylinder, it didn't totally correct it,m but we also noticed it was running rough and burning some oil. Did a cylinder leakdown and that #2 cylinder was 60% and 2 others on the left side were around 25%. 5 others were OK. We could hear the air rushing though the oil filler on that #2. Suspect a ring problem or maybe a broken land on that piston. Gotta come out and tear down....again...

On the bright side, Rob said it was definitely not pulling hard the whole time, so it may have been going away. Definitely a 12 in it. We'll be there next year.

Reshoot the panel, it would be the easiest, cheapest, best solution. I'm on my phone, but it looks like a metallic? Blending will take a very talented painter. I screwed up a panel and tried to blend it, never looked right. Reshot the panel, it came out perfect
