i want to give my 84 le sabre a monochromatic look,like the GN'S. want to paint it all black including the bumpers & all chrome trim. how would i do this? o No: o No:
Well, you would have to sand the chrome and then apply a good primer. If you have a local chrome shop, ask them to acid dip the bumper which removes all old chrome. You will then have bare steel and you can paint it just like the body.
Another choice is to take your car to my local body and get a regular paint job. The bumpers and most of the chrome trim will end up painted, unintentionally.
