Hey all, I'm looking for a couple things for my Wildcat. Firstly, I'm trying to find the braces that go under the seats in between them and the floor board. I have new floor pans but I've been told there's a cross brace in there somewhere and the place I got floor pans doesn't make the braces so any help there would be appreciated. Next thing is the knob for the windshield wiper. I have one but the dumb little chrome button inside it fell, seemingly into another dimension, when I was in my driveway. Third would be windshield wipers. I don't need the whole thing, just replacement for the rubber blades. I would say I need plastic caps for the door locks but I'm assuming you can buy those at any auto parts store. Lastly, two bits of chrome trim. One of them is on the rear drivers door and is just the one strip in the middle of the door. The other is on the right front quarter panel on top of what I'm now told is called the "sweepspear". That's all for now but obviously if anybody knows of a guy in Wisconsin who has a huge stock of Buicks I'm sure getting into contact with him would be helpful too. Thanks in advanced!
Nice to see another 63 4door - so many 2doors and convertibles. Can't help you with your parts as my car and spares are in storage in Southern Oregon and I'm in New Zealand. Parts for the 4doors are harder to find than the others - poor unloved cars Finding the chrome and headlights surrounds nearly drove me mad. He's in PA but will ship - I've had a trunk lid sent to OR in the belly of a Greyhound bus and a Posi diff sent as well. Tell him Russell sent you. I may have the wiper switch you need. I have a couple of spare dashes but will have to check condition and send pics this weekend. I believe several suppliers sell the wiper blade refills if that's all you need. I do have an extra set of wiper arms/blades but the rubber is shot.
I don't actually need the switch, Just the knob and button. Also you wouldn't happened to have an example of which suppliers have wiper blade refills and which size, I only need the rubber but don't know what sizes fit. My wipers do overlap, I know that matters, not sure on the rest.
