Parting out a 70 Riviera

    I have a 70 Riv that I am parting out. Mini skirts and all.

    If the engine has the "channel" the positive battery cable runs thru on the side of the oil pan, I'd like that for my 455.

    Um? hey MIKE? You know what Imma gonna ask, right? Would you check to see IF the 70 Rivi used the same glovebox door SWING ARM GROMMET? as our 'A' body cars..PLEEEEEEEZE? ya. Im still lookin and getting moren more frustrated while doing so... :eek:

    No disc brakes. And it has a compressor of some sort in the trunk. And a real nice bumper jack

    Randy,
    If it is the same part I am thinking of, the '70 won't interchange with a '68-'69.
    I was looking for one myself, and bought one from another board member. It was from a '69, and wasn't even close to fitting.
    Unless you are asking for another '70 owner. :TU:

    Ok. Been thinking of what I may need, and then remembered this. :idea2:

    This is the most minor of parts, and not Riviera specific I am sure, but I need this little clip that holds the driver's side wiper articulating arm onto the pin attached to the cowl. I have thought of getting a simple 'E' clip from the hardware store, but if I can get the real thing that would be best.

    Mike... looking at pix 1 of 9, my customer and I are trying to decipher WHAT that broken area is and where? Or are we seeing something thats not there? or whut?

    I havent opened the hood. Im still trying to get it to roll off my trailer.
