    Been restoring this grill and headlight bezels a little at a time for a few months now. Today was the day to finally bolt them on. I like it. Gives the car a sportier look. Went with the tri-shield instead of the GS emblem. Hope ya'll like it...

    Thanks guys. Car will be at Charlotte Autofair again this weekend. Let's see how many notice the change...

    Very nicely done! I did the opposite. I put a Skylark grille in my Special with the trishield on the left hand side. So now I have no rush restoring the Special grille.
    Did you rechrom the bezels? $?
    Any particuliar recommendations regarding the restoration of these plastic grilles?

    Bezels were not rechromed, just polished up real good. Any cracks and broken mesh you have can be repaired with epoxy, JB Weld, filler, etc. This one only had a couple of small cracks, and a couple of pieces of broken mesh. Cracks are pretty easy, but you will need some pieces of the plastic mesh to do repairs on broken areas. Once everything is repaired and smooth, it's just paint. Harder to tape it of than it is to spray.
