They wont be that expensive, rather affordable all things considered. I need to figure out in ouces how much volume it takes and price it accordingly to cover my cost of the mold and the cost of the material. As much as I'd like to do it for cost, I most likely cant sell that one to my wife. :dollar:

I am making a top of the line evacuation chamber right now to evacuate the mold of air bubbles. Very important to produce quality stuff, and a mold that can be reused. I will let you know when its done. Give me a couple weeks on this. Remember, this si a hobby not a job for me, so I have to fit it in with my normal job 8-5, 2 kids and my wife.

I have an aftermarket radio in mine, so I am using those dimensions, as they should be the same for all aftermarkets. Its just plastic, so if you need to file/cut it a bit, its easy to do.

    Thanks,
    Jon

Thanks Jon! I'm standing by. When you get to making these, please drop me a PM. I need one to make the radio change in my car and this seems like just the ticket.

this would be hens teeth and also not very popular.
The optional mounting bracket for the front shoulder belt clip used in a convertible.

I'm not sure where to get a sample however. These maybe repoped somewhere else but not sure.

apparently it was a 1972 option only.

Somebody repops those (or at least did anyway)...when I had the shoulder belts made for my vert they came with a set of those included but the guy had butchered them (long story)...so never installed them.

They used that style belt on the 67 camaro/firebird front shoulder belt setup for hardtops too I think...so camaro place might have them?

Holey cow Tim that was fast, I was just referring to some threads you were posting about the belts in your vert. How do the belts actually feel when your wearing them in the car (I know you've tried them once).

Well they are ok but I'm not sure how good they would actually be if needed...just my opinion. Honestly I've only used them a couple times, you do forget they are there until somebody at a stoplight asks you about them!! :)

    Jon,
Just wondering how the progress is coming along on the radio delete plates. I'm getting ready to tear my interior apart and would like to replace the radio at the same time.
    Thanks, Bruce

Just replied Mike. As for the radio plate, I got side tracked with house work, but I am finally done. Should be getting to this stuff when I get back from vacation after next week. Sorry for the delay. Life sure gets in the way sometimes!

I like the radio piece - in fact, if you do these and can get me one, I can develop a piece of woodgrain to fit around the perimeter of the unit and match up with the rest of the woodgrain dash pieces.

    Lemme know, thanks!

I have a part and it is impossible to find. The skirt trim on power seat for GM A-body's I am looking into buying a set of seats with these on them but there are a few cracks. Will need to repair this first?

Back from vacation, and had a nice time. I will be getting into this stuff shortly. Wishing I were still on the beach, but reality has set in. I have a set of power buckets for an A-body. What is the part your referring to that is impossible to find? First part is for Mike G, then the radio bezels.

Anybody on here a vacuume plater? Hesitant to do the radio bezels until we can find a plater. I cant front the money to have this stuff done.

    Thanks,
    Jon

M y plater says 50.00 painted on the radio bezels. Less if you paint them yourself. What about the power seat pieces?

The power bucket seat has a small plastic cover that goes around the feet. Underthe side skirt because the power track sits a little higher. Looks like a long C wraps around the front to the back on the outside only. Same plastic as the back of the seat.

    Jon,
As stated when you first brought up the radio plate, I do not need nor want mine plated. I prefer the black, but that is because my car is driver quality.
