Nice Shorty Type II console lid,some minor pitting on unseen chrome grab handle but a very presentable piece IMHO (pics attached). Haven’t priced these so saying $200 OBRO and will be delivered to the Nats in person when paid prior. Thanks in advance for any interest!
At one point I bought every ironing board console I could find. I had quite a few and probably $4k into them. Most were cracked and not soon pretty. But I was able to piece together a real nice one like you have there. I still have to dye it. I sold the rest of the spares and extra pieces off. I needed a second one now for another car. Luckily I found one on here. I'll have to do a little work to it. But your console sure looks nice with that shiny chrome. Most are pitted or painted.
Yes Sir, most are pitted and toasted but this one is a winner Do you happen to know the going rate on them? I am more into shorty console or 4 speed consolettes (thousands & thousands invested in all mine too in order to get the best of all different consoles,consolettes,tachometers etc). I know I had to step up to own the 64 but can’t remember how much without lots o digging through notes. Pays to get the nicest so I am glad I secured it. Might sell it or do some horse trading some day soon though
