Worked for me using Google chrome http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/australian-cobra-club/139158-easy-fix-photobucket-issue.html
Yeah, I'm kinda still butt hurt from em doing what they did. Cool "workaround" and it shows just how sharp people are when they want to accomplish something.
Maybe for getting your old stuff back, but why make something as simple as this soooo complicated. Wasn't somebody here looking for this shot??? ws
Dave, I just added the plug in on my phone and use Chrome. I just checked an old thread but still see the 3rd party image. Any suggestions?
I read that you have to close the browser and then try again. From the Chrome Extension: NOTE: You may need to clear your browser cache (at least for images) before you will be able to see some images (if you already tried to view them before installing this)
I guess Ill have to wait for the Librarian promotion to come through... Ill finish serving out my apprenticeship as book shelf re-stocker. That roast is Daves and its from a 2011 post he made. I grabbed it and waved the magic wand over it, and VOILA! (NOT walla!), it appeared here. Now for my next trick (after a quick run to the Dewey Decimal Files), I'm gonna post a Monday morning eye opener! Be Careful, put on your eclipse shades and scroll down; way down... ws
Cache and history have been cleared and I'm able to view yours but not Dave's. When installing the plugin, is there anything else I need to do? I feel like it was pretty much plug and play.
I guess I'm too old... I don't get the APs, plug-ins, and ad ons. The new braniacs of the "now" generation hafta make up stoopid names for everything that normal catholic schooled people don't comprehend. I DID manage to figure out what a google was tho. I do have a phone that makes AND receives calls tho and a toy 16mgp digital Canon camera that seems to do what I need. Ive still got piles of 35mm stuff. ASA 100; uh, whats that??? Anybody that gets that (or a) third party hosting pop up(?) needs to use my system if they can remember what their pic was, and store it as is AND resized for posting. Go back to the original thred and pic posting and do an edit with the new pic. All the following posts "may" update as well. Not too sure about that tho; that would be too easy. Avatars are supposed to be small (like ours), but Daves '71 Stage 1 pic was held hostage by some chinaman in Bopal. Picassa??? Wasn't that some artist that drew weird stuff? Tiny pics? Maybe little nasal dust balls, and ADOBE is still an INDIAN MUD BRICK. CHROME is for bumpers, and WTF is a Mozilla?? I'm staying off the grid. I always ask my doctors if they implanted anything in me when Ive had surgeries, and of course, with the Feds and Medicare etc, their response is "Of course not..." Do the math on that equation. ws
