I thought this may be a interesting post our daily drivers, the cars we use to bring home the bacon. I'll start with my grocery getter. AL :bglasses: .
Here's my daily driver. I also drive the yellow 71, and the black 70 in my avatar at least a couple times a week, even if only on a <s>beer</s> milk run or something. :gt: But the green 67 most qualifies as my daily driver. PS.... thanks again to the member who took this picture a few months ago at Norwalk! Renee? (sorry, I forget exactly who it was)
Cool beans, Rick! My daily driver is my hot rod, too:TU: I even drove that thing in the winter frpm '89 to '97. I like my Skylark just too much to stop driving it. I still haven't put it away for the winter
I wouldn't mind having a beater 4dr skylark for a daily driver, there's a 72 I pass by every day going to work. Rusting out some, but decent enough. I have to stop by and visit with the owner sometime, but there isn't a for sale sign on it. But for winter driving up here, it's tough to beat this:
*yawn* So the styling is sorta boring  but my daily driver is pretty quick. It's got the 5-speed and it's quite fun around town. Never taken it to the track but in it's stock configuation it's supposed to do the 1/4 in about 14.7... not bad for a cheapo non-Buick! Though hopefully in a few months, my Skylark will be my daily driver! And I certainly hope it will do better than 14.7.
I'm not much into trucks but somtimes they're a necessity...o No: Use to drive mid 70s Trans-Ams as winter cars...
My 65 GS driver/ET car This is my daily driver (nice weather) and dead consistent bracket car. (I wish the driver was as consistent). It's a 65 GS post with 60k miles on it. 425 2x4 and ST400, 3:42 10 bolt posi.
... well heres my daily driver, 86 bmw 325es. blue leather interior/w leather recaro's, completely whited out outside (grill, bumpers, trim, etc.) white bbs wheels, limo tint. Havnt done much performance wise exept add a performance chip . just hit 200,000 a few days ago and still runs like brand new. 2.93 limited slip sport suspention 5 speed
Here's mine... '85 LeSabre, wheezer 307, 200 4R, and some neat '85-era options, like Electronic Touch Climate Control. :eek2: The 307 is hopefully on it's way out, for as soon as I can sell my '63 and my little '85 Omni, I've got a friend who'll sell me a Buick 350 with headers that should find its way under the hood during the Christmas holidays... if the above items sell. Can you say *sleeper* For the meantime, she hauls my bum to and from school
My lovely irrigation van. This is before I added the logo on the sides. It is now towing a 10x6 box trailer with a 40 gallon 13hp air compressor for winterizations.
Started bone stock w/13 miles now lowered 4/3 w/shaved tailgate, hiden hitch to tow snow mobile, Glass hood with blazer grill and lights and the last major mod is the front bumper - go look at stock and compare... Thanks
My 37 Chevy truck, daily driver. It helps that I live in a mild climate area, would not work so well in the snow. It's only stock sheetmetal, rest is typical hot rod.
heres my dads Well since i dont drive yet and my dad is in texas, ill just post a pic of his daily driver gn thats for sale by the way:TU:
