Power steering pump

    No, not at all. the hardest part was getting the studs out of the back.

    Hi 7Duece,
    Good job. I'm trying to do the same thing. Where did you get the kit? I'm not seeing the shaft bushings in the kits at Rockauto?

    I happened to get lucky and oreilly's had a kit in stock. Here is the one i used.

    Did it come with the bushing? Just picked one up but it had only 11 pics and no bushing? :(

    Sorry, no, it didnt have the bushing. Mine wasnt bad.

    Gates kits have the bushing. Try Amazon

    Unless the pump ran out of oil & was run that way for ANY time not only are the bushings bad BUT the pump shafts themselfe is now probably bad also.
    Cut your looses & get a rebuilt pump.

    Thanks all. Ended up just putting the old bushing back in as it and the shaft were fine. :) Not so hard at all and kind of cool internals. Wasn't impressed with the plastic seeming o rings that were in there. The kits rubber ones were fine.
