Progress pics on my 73 Century

    Thought I'd post some pictures of how the car's coming along.. :)

    It was a good "10 footer" when I bought it, and really wasn't very rusty, but it had its' fair share of door dings, rust spots in both lower quarters behind the rear wheel, and at the bottom of the rear window.

    The pictures show the car as it looked when I brought it home, then with an "outbreak" of filler covering the dings, the patch panel on the driver's side, and finally with most of the bodywork complete and the first coat of primer on. Yes, I splashed the patch panel driving to the painter's place and had to sand the flash rust off of it before he finish welded it. :)

    Wow, looks like you own the rest of the running 73 Centuries in existence! :beer

    Maybe you can answer a question of mine; are the rear bumper filler pieces and the top of the front bumper supposed to be silver?

    So far as I think? I know, YES SILVER. Alot of em get painted body color but, at least you have the parts to repaint if needed! PS There are more and more 73's out there:TU: :TU: Welcome to the club! (BUICK and 73's)
