myself have only used legendary for whole interior and no issues whatsoever but I have not seen/heard of any complaints on pui ....I would go with price or whichever one has a sale going on
Legendary is usually better quality than PUI, just remember when ordering from Legendary and it's something that they have to assemble, like door panels , it can take awhile. I ordered front & rear door panels for a 69 GS the first week of January during their " big sale" and they will be delivered tomorrow....
I got a set of PUI seat covers for a Chevelle several years ago via NPD (National Parts Depot), and a set for my GS from Legendary. It is a VERY distinct better build quality feel in the legendary set. Now, The Chevelle seats were a simpler design, and THAT may have influence the decision. But If I had to do it over, I believe that I would go with Legendary...
Legendary - I have a set of 20 year old Legendary covers that look great and are still soft. I sent back a piece that separated at the seam(my fault) and they fixed it no charge. Legendary was started by Duane - enough said!
Just to throw some more fuel onto the fire, I recall several years ago, one vendor's catalog offered two distinct versions of door panels for the same car; I believe one was called 'silver' and the other was 'platinum'. They used a penny in the 'groove' of the embroidery to demonstrate the padding difference between the two levels. One was PUI; The other was Legendary. The Legendary was the deeper padded...
Based on others experience here I ordered seat covers from Legendary. Couldn't be happier, only needed to repplace one seat cover, because it matched the other perfectly.
I went with Legendary. The place I was going to get to put the covers on. Said what ever you do, don't get PUI covers. Every set he has gotten didn't fit right and had to be modified some how. PUI stands for pretty ugly interior is what he referred to.
