Well I bought another car and will be looking for some parts. I need the following 2 pulleys Crank 1375142 Fan 1375141 They are for a 69 400 non-AC car. I am looking for a decent pair that I can clean up and paint. I don't want anything that is pitted up and would need filled. If you have any that are ready to go, that would be fine too. Thanks, and let me know what you have. Duane More parts requests to follow............
Engie, I know it's a single groove pulley, but I do not know the size. I got the numbers out of the 69 assembly manual. The crank pulley would have 2 grooves. Duane
I have been going through boxes of part outs. I will look through the pulley box. I parted out a 69 Sportwagon 400 with no air - would that be the same?
That's exactly what I am looking for, the pulleys off a 69 400 Non-AC motor. Now if it had Heavy Duty cooling then it would have the AC-style pulleys with the extra grooves, and that is what I am trying to avoid. The car was built in Canada and did not have HD cooling. and by the way, I appreciate everyone that is looking for these. Duane
Duane, Nice score on a cool car! What happened to the original pulleys? I may still have a set of that combination. I'll take a look and let you know. It may take a day or three to locate the box that they are in. Matt
Matt, When Jimmy bought this car 40 years ago the drive train was all apart and he took all the parts that were there. (The trans was in the trunk, and the block was getting ready for new pistons/rods.) Jimmy had a box of pulleys that went with the car, but the only ones I have found are for AC cars. Who knows want happened to the originals. I could use the AC pulleys if needed, but would rather not. Even then I would want a better crank pulley. It's a bit "crusty". Duane
I've got a setup that I mocked up few weeks ago, it uses an Oldsmobile wp pulley that is pretty much identical to the 541, and a small block buick 2 groove crank pulley. Lines up perfectly using the short pump
I can let you know what I have left after I get the 2 pulleys I need. If I can't find the non-AC pulleys, then I will have to use the AC versions. Duane
Well,I looked and looked, the only thing I did come with is one for the water pump, this is for no AC .# 's are :1231724.Don't know if these are the numbers you want, but its the same size as mine and if you have the right crank pulley, this one will work good.By the way,I know I have one last non AC crank pulley but right now I cannot find it. Just let me know if you want it,if yes, send me your address.Bruno.
OK Guys, I got a set of Pulleys. I thank everyone for looking and a large thank you to Mark Reeves and Ken (Man of the People) for coming up with them. Duane
