I've never seen a non-GS that had factory installed cross braces. I have also never seen a 70-72 Buick 2-door sedan with the hidden wiper option like yours. That is very unusual in my opinion. I think the 04035 is an internal code for the Kansas City plant that no one will be able to decode for you. The car also appears to have a AM/FM radio? Looks like someone added the vinyl top since the paint code appears to be 68 68. What's you plan for this thing? Sell it to me?

Being from Kansas you might find a build sheet on top of the tank, or under the rear seat. The Kansas build sheet will be the big nice, easy to read version like you see with many Chevelles. It won't be the cryptic sheet you see with Flint-built Buicks. Looks like this thing also has PS, PB, full hubcaps, protective side moldings, and the optional window frame brightwork (trim). Lots of options for a post car! I love the base interior, it looks to be in mint condition! I'm thrilled you got this car, it has found another good home. Maybe someday I can make it to your party and take a look at it.
John, I found the car from word of mouth, a tip. It`s location was just a few miles from my parents. As I had the owner on the phone....I asked a lot of questions, ne never once said it was a Post Sedan and I just assumed it was not due to it having hidden wipers. But once he said it had its original rubber mat.... I imediatly made an appointment to go see the car. You can imagine the look on my face when the garage door was opened :laugh: :shock: Dan.
