    GTOROCKZ 70's Rule!

Was a tough pill to swallow at $499 plus but is a nice looking piece of plastic.
I read somewhere here that another member purchased the same grill and couldnt figure out how the included mounting studs worked.. well if they were the same as the ones they sent us, they dont.. at all.
All 6 of the studs they sent us were completely useless. The good news is the repro grills are threaded for standard bolts. I used two of my old skylark studs from the ends.. they fit the center of the new grill perfect, then a trip to the hardware store for 4 reg short bolts (and four rubber washers just for a little cushion) and the grill was mounted and looks great. :beers2:

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

I have put many 70 Grills in cars some NOS and I also have a parts place grill in my 70 skylark now. The studs that where sent with this grill I saw personally and they were NO WHERE NEAR what they should have been. I am sure this was a rare mistake as this could not be missed very offten I would hope that the parts place check with there vendor on this so they dont have people braking the grill trying to make a stud work that is not intended to be put in there grill. That said I also have a parts place grill and it is a really nice quality grill. Parts place inc Thanks for the support of our cars...

Yep, they do not work. I just used my old studs with the new 71 grill. The grill is super nice and strudy. Parts Place; Get the studs fixed, and it 100%:)
