I know a lot of guys hate custom jobs, but my Skylark is a Custom, after all, so I figured it would be OK:

Thanks for the compliments, guys! A friend who owns a body shop convinced me to try the white stripe when we put the spoiler on, I wasn't sure at first, thought it might look goofy, but the end result looked better than I thought it would.

Working on that video...dodging the law around hear is sometimes difficult.

I dig the stripe. I don't know if I would have had the courage to put the stripe on. But I think it makes the car, great choice!

 

When I saw custom I expected to see frenched headlights, fender skirts, side pipes, and the top chopped! :grin:

I've used the excuse of "its got custom on the side!" to justify many of my additions.

I dig the spoiler, the hood scoop/tach, and especially the white stripe.
So what if it wasn't born a GSX/GS, it grew up to be badder than one!
HP aplenty, traction ......not so much. I'm holding free tickets to NED for ya Steve, good for the season, once ya get the tire spinning under control. I'll take a guess at 11.42 in the 1/4. Any other guesses?
As far as purists, I have different criteria for car builds : Do what puts a smile on your face, lifes too short to worry bout pleasing others.
The only thing that riles me is Rally Stripes and rims over 15" !
