Racing at Maryland International Raceway (MIR) October 18 and 19

Pure Stockers and Factory Appearing cars should put this race on their calendar: Friday October 18 (gates open at 5pm) and Saturday October 19 at Maryland International Raceway (MIR) in Budds Creek Maryland. Last October the track prep was killer with most of the cars running personal best ET's. The facility is great along with the staff. Already planning the vacation time ,and got the new tires on the trailer.

Mir is the place to let it all hang out. Best racing surface you will see all year?

 

I had a 1.57 sixty foot there last year. This is the event to be at!

 

Quite a few guys are planning on being there but haven't gotten on here to reply. Should be fun.

Ok, noticed the track doesn't open till 5pm.. when is everybody else driving in???
Thinking of splitting the trip into 2- 5hr drives. So I can be awake enough to cut a good light and KICK Scotty's ass!!

 

Was thinking of getting there around 3 to 4 maybe check in... Then start my work out for the big ass kickin im gona get...:moonu:

You know, I seen Mr Jim Mino at the p/s drags and wanted to say hello.. Then I seen him under his car and someone said he broke.. If anybody knows Jims number and his car is fixed tell him to get down to MIR... I know he likes that track..:TU:

 

Get those old worn tires on the car!!!! I bet you go 1.7's 60'.. 11.75 at 117.00 mph... WE are gona have a race!!! I'm putin the big tune on and taking the new tires off..

We're going to split the drive in half also on the way there. Check in to the hotel, then have a nice late lunch before arriving at the track.

 

Last year I believe they let us in at 3pm even though they said 5 . I will call as the time gets closer. Be ready to roll they tech quick and start running quick.

Royce will let us in early to set up he said that was not a problem. We are welcome to leave trailers at the track as well as camp there.

He also said if for some reason the weather does not co operate that we can run on Sunday if need be. Right now Saturday looks real good Friday has chance of showers.
