I have a 4 core Harrison radiator. It is not a stock radiator
but Being a Harrison 4 core I want to find out where it's from.
No original tag on it. radiator shop tag and a "Craig mfg" tag on the core.
My guess is it's a re-core with Harrison tanks.

Not sure about the OA,but dimensionally it looks like a 68-up Nova. I think 67-9 Camaro used the same size core, but had the mounts welded on the tanks. Should work good in any GM with the short top mounting plate with two cushions. A lot of GM 68 up have a dual pattern in the bottom of the core support for short or long cores.

Top and bottom cushion mounts line up perfectly. but in a 67 skylark.

65 was the first year for that style in a skylark(they came both ways in 65),but I believe those tanks to be newer. As far as Buick applications it should fit anything 65-7 skylark with that style top mounting plate except 401/425 engine. Should work very well in a 300,340,350 car.

I'm running a big block 462. was going to run this radiator with full fan shroud and 7 blade clutch fan or wide two row aluminum with twin electric fans. what would be the better application and how well would the Harrison work with the big block ?

It has always been a bit of trial and error on cooling, but I believe you will have troubles running a stock 455 with that setup.I just don't think you have enough capacity with the narrow core. It definitely won't hurt to try it if you have a good shroud, but cubes make horsepower and horsepower makes heat. I have the same size core and tank in my nailhead, but you are only talking about 400 cubes.

Some preliminary "digging" here through an Assembly Manual shows the fill side tank (marked "OA") may be for a 1970 Olds Delta 88 car. The more horizontally oriented filler neck (compared to 71 and later factory radiators which had "angled" filler necks) also falls in place with it being a pre-71 rad.

It can be used to build a radiator for a Skylark, etc if someone is wanting a 4 row setup. I just did this on a '70 Stage 1 car....used 4 row tanks from a big body Olds (88 or 98) and had a new core installed. JUST fits in the rad support, side-to-side clearance wise, on the car. Same radiator would NOT fit inside a '70 Cutlass/442 rad support.....the fill side tank on the one I built is slightly longer, compared to a factory 4 row rad for a Cutlass/442.

The tanks could have had other applications as well but that's what I'm seeing in an Olds Assembly Manual.
