SOLD, Turns out the car is actually a cloned Skylark withi 400 engine & trans. Original builder of car saw my ad in Buick Bugle and called me to tell me it was a clone. Seller to me changed trim and VIN tags and advertised it as real GS. I am looking at legal action against him, stay tuned.

True description of car as it now exists but not at true factory GS400 with 4 speed.

    · Numbers matching 400 cu.in., 340 hp engine was rebuilt by a previous owner, engine sounds like it has a mild cam and has a strong clutch. Runs great with lots of torque and power.
    · According to firewall tag, car was originally mist green with black interior and black top Not this car, tag switched. A previous owner painted it white, with maroon top and installed a full red Legendary interior. Paint is nice.
    · Power top, good condition, has two small holes due to bad folds
    · Aftermarket power disk brakes
    · Power Steering
    · New 4 core radiator core.
    · New exhaust system
    · ‘Star Wars’ original air cleaner
    · New 14" reproduction rally wheels and Goodrich red line radials,
    · Completely rebuilt 4 speed transmission shifter and linkage
    · Replaced 4 speed console in the car and rebuilt tachometer

Easy there, fella. You might want to stop letting the whiskey talk for you. Your posts are getting out of line and violating rules.

Forum Rules :::: from sticky post.

    "Effective immediately.

Due to the high number of complaints I have recieved from users posting for sale ads, only to have the post overtaken by a flame war about prices, vehicle conditions, values, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire ect.. commentary will no longer be allowed in someone's ad. If you want to comment on something, make your own new post about it, in the Bench, or other appropriate forum. Reasonable requests for more pictures, info, or other sale related communication is still allowed.

The moderators have been instructed to immediately delete any post that even hints of anything other than straightforward buying/selling discussion.

Offenders of this new policy risk disciplinary action.

Let's just buy and sell some parts folks, and keep the commetary to ourselves, or in other appropriate forums. It's, at the very least, rude to break up someone's for sale ad with your personal views on prevailing pricing trends, or other non-sale related information.

All ads must have a price and the location that the item is at. Ads not containing this information will be removed immediately.

    Thanks

    JW

Thanks for the positive comments folks, I wanted to list the car here first in case there was a buyer in our V8Buick world. I have not had an offer from the board so I have listed the car on Carsonline.com. I will try Hemmings next to get worldwide exposure.
Stay safe and well and have a fun fourth of July while remembering your mask and social distancing.:D
