DEUCE! We've got 7 Deuce and a half people movers along with 8 Dodge M-37's here at the academy. Is that deuce a multifuel? I think I've got a pic of one of ours around here somewhere... Oh, yeah...hehe. Sarge let me use the a deuce to go hunting with him once. THis is what resulted. That is just before I floored it and spun all 3 axles and yanked it out. I love military trucks.

Maybe tommorrow I'll post some pics of my snow toys. My big one is a 1978 Walter airport fire truck. 12 cylinders of detroit power, 4 wheel drive and tires as tall as me. I also have a chevy bucket truck with flotation (monster truck) tires.

Greg Schmelzer What are you looking at?!

A bunch of my friends in my home town, North Platte, NE, build their trucks to run the river. Not much else to do but go "boony bashing" (take that Al Gore). One friend, Stevie Todd, put 5 Ton Rockwell axles with 6.72:1 gears under a '72 Chevy PU with around 700 HP BBC in front. I had to ask him "Why"? He said, "Because 2 1/2 Tons are far too fragile!!

The man was an engineering genious. Could build anything and make it work and make it work safely. May he rest in peace. For some unknown reason, he commited suicide about a year ago. Left three beautiful kids without a father.:ball: :Do No:

???? If you are talking about the Hummer I have to disagree. They are built in South Bend, IN.

I think he's talking about the Deltas, they do have a tag on the dash "Made in Canada".

I'm not sure about the track conversion, thats new this year. It seems to work pretty well.

Yup, I'm referring to the Track Conversions and the large-wheeled glacier crawlers. I did a consulting job for those guys back in 99, got a full tour of the facility. They can build those suckers to any spec you can think of!
