Paul I sent you a PM , Tested the motor in the kit and it has a noise.

Had a problem trying to attach the pic to the PM.
This is the kit including both dash plates , motor, wiring, switch
and rear shelf bezel
The noise in the motor sounds as if the fan is hitting something ,
I took the fan off and no marks , so its in the motor.

Question from the uninformed: Do these defrosters make hot air, or just air?

They circulate the cabin air causing they fog 0n the inside of the window to clear .

Thanks for the info, Bill. My GS's original owner was a cheapskate, and didn't order many options for it. I'm surprised it came with a steering wheel!
