I have a complete 8.5 rear that I just had redone. 2.73 with a 3-series posi. All new seals, bearings, etc. Complete with a rearend girdle from Summit Racing. No brakes but I could get you the set off of my car. I'm upgrading the whole braking setup and what's on there only has about 5K on it. PM me if interested. I live near Cleveland, OH.

Ron Downs, make sure which 12 bolt you have from a 70 Cutlass. If it is the Olds 12 bolt, only Olds purists will want it. It is basically a 10 bolt internally. The parts for them are not easy to find. Good Luck!

Ron , he needs a 3 series carrier that means it will hold a gear like 3.42 or 373 ratio . He also has to have a 71 - 72 rear as these are 8.5 inch rears ( ring gear size ) earlier cars had 8.2 or smaller ring gears .
