I have an 8.5 right now with 3.73's. It is howling really bad and had some pinion bolts back out on me before. Not sure what we will find when we break into it but I need to have a plan B in place in case it needs to be replaced. I have a TKO 600 so 3.55's would work fine. I have a T/A girdle cover for the one I have now. Car has a good running 462 with the TA 413 cam somewhere in the neighboorhood of 500 hp/tq. It is 95% street driven drive it o work and for ice cream and the occasional run to the beach and parades. and a blast down the 1/8th mile. Looking for something quiet and strong that I can bolt right in. I have no hops and soutside bars and air bags to keep the wheel hop in check. Do you think this would be a good fit?

Sounds like it would be a solid rear for my convertible. Shoot me a pm with details about price and how I could get it shipped to 04401.

I do have mine I could send back with 3.73's and a new t/a girdle.

    Thanks, Kevin
