Red gas & brake pedals

    I n search of red gas and brake pedals...all I'm finding for repo are black ones

    They came in colors in'64, maybe before....at least in senior series.

    ^ True; my '59 had a green interior (with black & white patterned upholstery inserts), and the gas pedal was green.
    Changing over to largely black, so I traded straight-up for a black pedal. Brake pedals were only in black tho (in '59, and I imagine every other year, ever).

    I have heard that '64 had gas and brake pedals color matched to the interiors. Also, I think the shifter and turn signal levers were color matched.

    My '64 Skylark had a blue gas pedal. The brake and parking brake pedals were fairly new (black) replacements.
    The gas pedal is very mottled and did not clean up well, and looked too bad to use, but I kept it, because, you know, parts is parts...

    No idea if it was original, but it is the correct size and part for a '64 Skylark.
