Hey Nick, 17"x8"on the front on a 245 and 18"x10" on the back on a 295. I have to do a little work on the outer to give it a some more clearance. I was afraid to run it too close to the frame rails. I think that's as big as you could go and be safe.

I would have loved to go to the Nats but that's walleye opener week in Minnesota. A week of fishing, beer and total debauchery! Then I'm home for a couple days and off to Europe for three plus weeks with my wife. Yikes! If the corona virus doesn't hamper things. I didn't get the corona virus in mexico but I did get the weiss beer virus in Germany once. Thanks for the compliment on the stance.

Thanks, You got a sweet little project yourself. I like the valve covers you did. I like that old school stuff with the new. I got a long way to go and not much free time to do it.Lots of parts in boxes still. I was hoping to paint it but might put it off for another year. I'd rather beat it around for the summer. I'll see how the new trans works and maybe put the a/c on.

Holy smokes 18x10! Did you modify the fender lip or have any other issues? I've been looking at 18x9's with 5.5 bs and a 275.

That should work no problem without any modifications. I had a 18"x 5.5" on a 275 on with rear disc brakes. You shouldn't have any issues. I did trim the lips as much as I could previously. I honestly could have put a 305 or possibly a 315 with the right offset.

Looking to do a similar set up on my 72 GS. CARiD’s recommendations are 255/50-17 on 17x8 +8 offset front. 295/40-18 on 18x10 +6 offset. .02 anybody
