I picked up this RH mirror awhile ago. I'm looking for help with the part number, since my Google-fu must be weak. It looks the same as my driver's side, but unless I'm wrong A body cars did not come with a passenger remote mirror. Is it a big car mirror?
    Thanks

Remote passenger side mirrors stated maybe with mid 70s models.

The passenger 70s remotes that I have seen mount the toggle control in the center of the dash. This is why the cable is so long. There were no passenger remotes in 71.

The ones shaped like that without the tri-shield showed up into the early ‘80s on Buicks and at least some Oldsmobiles, maybe Pontiacs and Chevrolets too.

That one must be ‘78 or older though, the glass is flat not convex (no ‘objects in mirror...’ on it).

Yeah, I was guessing it was an earlier BOP big car mirror but I'm not having any luck with the numbers on it.

I know that 1971 Monte Carlos could be ordered with passenger remote mirror. My brother owned one.

Casting number is present perhaps instead of the part number.
