hey guys, I have a 70 Buick Skylark custom. I am removing all the trim peices. alot of the chrome peices just screw off, but some are actually fit to the body. how do you you remove them without doing damage, also, how to you re-install them. say like the peices around the vynal top and other peices that are not screwed in.

The v.top corners have nuts that you can remove from inside the trunk.
Other trim items are snap clips, just use some putty knives, one on each side and pry upwards. Be careful not to scratch the paint.

I need to remove the "Skylark" name emblem from the glove-box door of my '65. Will the putty knife trick work for that as well?
