Any of u fellows replaced this unit with the gas tank installed. I know I had this asm off the car in 2001 with the gas tank out of the car. I replaced all the brake lines back then and the r/r was easy.
I do not really want to remove the tank as it has 10 gallons of fuel which I would have to drain. I know I will have to remove the shocks & drop the rear end assembly.
    Suggestions?

I thought I did it on previous car with tank in? With jackstands on Frame I think rear end drops low enough to get at everything?

Dave is correct. With the rear end hanging there should be no problems.
