We are looking into Starting to RePro a 1970-72 Core Support made out of Carbon Fiber. We are not sure how much they will cost at this time or what they will weigh. We would like to do more lite weigh Parts down the Road like Hoods Deck Lids inner Fenders and Doors. Anyway here is a Picture of a GM Core Support that was done. Nothing is set in stone at this time in less there is a nuff interested.

Will they be strong enough with the use of steel fenders?

How well will these stand up to battery acid? That is what rots most of the steel ones.

Just out of curiosity, but why? Is there going to be that much of a weight savings?
