Does anybody know the phone number or Web Site of the company reproing the 70 GS wheel? I was told that it might be Specialty Wheels?
Try this,www.Wheelvintiques.com , not sure if that's there web address or not but that is the company that makes them.:TU:
Another Thought I've got 15" wheels on my GS that came off of an 84 Regal. Same 5-spoke sort of design, and the car rides a lot better with them on. I have the original 14" wheels still, and unless you put them next to each other, you couldn't really see a difference. Pic attached. Better selection of good tires for a 15" too, and they are probably a lot cheaper than repro's. Not a bad alternative. - Freed
specialty wheel Specialty Wheel also makes them but I don't have a phone # handy and can't seem to find a website. They are in Utah or Idaho I think. Anyone have a Hemmings handy??? Always have an ad in there. Stockton Wheel in Calif also has or makes them. Patton
Hemmings Handy Specialty Wheels, LTD. 19310 NE San Rafael St Portland OR 97230 (503) 491-8848 Fax (503) 491-8828 No website mentioned in their advertisement.
Jeff, yesterday I was wearing a tee shirt and jeans outside, now its in the high 20's. You guys need to keep this stuff up there!! Saturday was going to be a good day for racing but it actually got cold enough that the track decided to close. Bummer!!!
Stockton Wheel I sent a wheel to Stockton Wheel for straightening. It was delivered to them 1-21-03 and they called me before Noon (their time) on 1-24-03 to get my credit card info because the wheel was finished. Cost for repair= $45 + $22 s/h. While on the phone, I asked the guy if they sold this type wheel. He said he doesn't have any on the shelf, but he can build them (to the customer's specs, my wheel was a typical 15x7 rallye.). The price he quoted was $95 + $22 s/h per wheel. I spoke with Bobby @ 1-800-395-9433, or (209)320-8720. I was so floored by the quick service that I forgot to ask what they had to do to repair my wheel.
