Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

It's hard enough for Buick guys to find correct parts for our cars that are being restored. Now we have to deal with India sh-t like this. This is a crime. s-l1600.jpg

Very sad. A couple of years ago, I went to my local Buick dealer and ordered a pair of Delco ball joints for my lower control arms on one of my Regals. They came in the same way. Ac Delco box with “made in India” stamped right on it. Also didn’t have zerk fittings like my originals. Haven’t been back since. GM has left a permanent bad taste in my mouth.

What are you talkin about? The box says made in India, not China, two totally different countries.

Uh huh. You'd think country that flooded world with decorative brass could make a brass pressure washer replacement part...house cleaning chemical dissolved it in about 6 months, original lasted 10 years...

China brass has a bigger percentage of lead in it. It leaches out and then you have porous brass. Doesn't fare well with boat fittings either! ws
