    Cool, see you there!

New torque converter in. I'm guessing it'll screw up my sweet 14.4 time which was perfect for the 14.5 bracket. Lol

Got there in time to see Matt win the 14.50 bracket. I have a vid, but it's too large to post.
Really nice 70 GS 455 (Todd?) won the 12.0 bracket. Congrats to both!

Thanks Mark! Stop over and say hello some time. The other black GS belongs to Keith. Todd has the blue GS.

So what is your car running now with the new converter?

Thanks Mark....That was me driving the wifes car in the 12.0 class.....

Todd was having new combo issues and went out first round, I'm sure he'll get it figured out soon.

Congrats guys on the Wins!!! And thank you to Keith for the help with my Carb. Struggled all morning with Carb problems. I think we solved one issue while we were at the track but fuel starvation on the big end kept me from being competitive.

Looking forward to the Fall Race. Working on my fuel issue - hoping to have it cured soon!

Best time was 14.27 with high humidity, so shaved off 0.15. Last year was a dry September day. A couple guys thought we were losing roughly 0.2 because of humidity. So.... best guess is 0.35.... I can't say 0.4 with great confidence but could be.

Hard to compare apples to apples with the big change in humidity. 2.5" exhuast will be on in the next week!

Did the float change take care of the bog?...

Oh but you can! Larry the Wizard posted a link for a site that has a record of atmospheric condition going back for decades. So if you go to that site and get the condition for the days you ran, The Wizard posted another site before as well that you use that info and it will "correct" the numbers to the SAE (IIRC) standard atmospheric measuring conditions. That would make it an apple to apple comparison. The date and time of the run should be on your time slips.

I had those saved on the other hard drive and lost all of those cool sites like that and more!:( Maybe if Larry reads this he will repost those for you here? Or maybe you can do a search?

I only made two runs after that but it seemed to be better. I nursed it out of the hole in round one hoping to get off the line cleanly but the fuel starvation showed up in 2nd gear and my competitor drove right around me.

Made some calls today and have a game plan for a new fuel delivery system soon. Those issues took the fun out of the whole day. Gotta get it fixed!!

    Congrats on your win!!

Sounds like I missed a great day. I had the opportunity to work, and since it's been a slow month, well....

I'll see you guys at the next one.
