Roof rail channel corner question ....

Does the corner piece get the same thin foamy seal on it as the rest of the rail does or does it get dabbed with
some seam sealer material ?

when I took it apart over 10 years ago I remember one side had some goop sealer junk in there

not familiar with those parts.

 

The factory used the foam the entire length,also they threw some rope caulk in too.Joe
