We removed a lot of the accessories. It’s suppose to be a low mileage engine and does turn by hand.

I do believe the big car power steering bracket isn't going to work because the steering box on your car will be in the way. PDRM0126.jpg PDRM0124.jpg PDRM0163.jpg

I had to alter it to fit, you can see where I welded a tab on it to make it work. I did this many moons ago and can't remember specifics. Good score on finding a BBB to replace the bow tie. ;)

I appreciate the heads up, I didn’t even think about that being an issue! I’m still in the process of trying to source all the big block 4 speed parts so I’m still not ready to do the swap yet. I underestimated the cost and scarcity of those BBB 4 speed parts.

That one says the car now has a 350 with auto trans in it but I’ll ask if he still has any of the BBB parts. Can’t hurt to ask! Thanks for trying to help though! I think all I need at this point is a BBB clutch fork. Unless I’m missing something about the swap. I’m going to get the flywheel from TA. GSFred had a BBB ZBar that I just picked up.

Will do! Thanks for the heads up on that radiator too that I asked you about. Got it all put in and the car is running much cooler now. I had to shave down the rubber pieces a little bit that go in between the radiator and it’s support but it fits good now.

Thanks! It was stored in a garage for the last 40 some years I was told. I bought it from the original owners son who said his father removed it from his car in the 70s.
