Hiya. Haven't been on here in a long time. I bought my 73 lesabre in 2009 and haven't done much to it in about 8 years. I finally have time and $$ to pay attention to it, so I'm going to start putting her back together. I gotta start with the power plant, of course. So I'm gonna pull my 350 engine and take it to get rebuilt. Thing is, I am not sure who to take it to for the rebuild in my area. Ten years ago I knew of more folks that did work on these old engines but these days I'm a bit less confident in who can and can't work on the older engines. So I'm looking for recommendations for shops to look at here in the Detroit Area. I'm actually near Ann Arbor, but not far from Detroit. I don't wanna do anything fancy with it, just get her running again instead of sitting around and doing nothing. Thanks in advance for any help. Tom
Derek works out of Goodrich . But not sure how quick the turn around is. He’s still doing my stroker . Maybe Mart has a recommendation.
There's always Jasper, just hope you get a good one and they honor their 3 yr, 100k warranty. Nothing fancy or performance about them.....not my choice. Rebuild it yourself and learn your engines internals
