Selling for a friend of mine - the car is in Toronto... asking $22,500

71 GSX Clone > Started life as rustfree bucket seat /Column shift (?) Skylark, 350 auto. One lady owner. The car had no dents and no body work other than ding removal was required before paint. A non-vinyl roof car, original glass in good shape. 17 coats of Saturn Yellow with two coats of clear... a trunk floor patch was required. It was done by cutting out bad portion (24" x 12") and mig welding in good sheetmetal - should last a long time according to car builder (I'd replace it). Body is laser straight, no dents, one chip in driver's fender lip at the door, the car seems like all the correct GSX markings are there, Ram Air Hood and air cleaner setup, GM hood tach (recently stopped working). Bodywise the car looks VERY good, but I'm not a body guy... I have not seen the car in person...

Engine: 1971 Buick 455 out of a Riviera - bored .030 over, new balanced rotating assembly, heads treated to the typical 3-angle vavle job, mildly cammed (Lunati), new Quadrajet, 14 lb mech fuel pump (why?), Hooker headers, 3" Stainless Steel exhaust, DynoMax mufflers thru factory GS bumper with tips. HP is estimated at 375. Runs fine on pump gas. Turbo 400 with shiftkit, fresh fluids throughout the car. Rear is a 10-bolt posi with 3:08 gears. Car runs extremely strong, and chirps all three gears with ease...it's very, VERY loud... I'd replace the mufflers... 8,000 miles on the engine and trans...

Interior: Stock bucket seat were swapped out for a bench seat years ago, bucket seat brackets were still on the floor, column shifted car (originally? Sounds strange to me, but who knows?). Changed to console shift with a console column swapped in. Trans Am / GTO Steering wheel. AM-FM Delco radio (doesn't work). Headliner & dash good - there's a small 'wave' in dashpad on passenger side - very minor but new pad comes with it. All guages and lights work fine. Power steering & Power brakes...

Suspension: new big block coil springs and shocks, rear end has the F41 (Chevy?) sway bar, not sure if the LCA's are 'boxed'...
