I have SIXTEEN Medium size U-haul boxes, and a few huge locking tuppers of die casts that are being put up on Evil bay. I inherited these. So I'm not not worried about getting the money back out of them. I'm trying to list them low enough they will sell quickly. Lots of different companies, lots of different makes, models and years. Some sweet Buicks in there. Please check it out. http://www.ebay.com/sch/toby.holme/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
I posted the link on Southside Street Cars. A friend of mine just bid on several. (2 of the tow trucks and the JD truck) If you want to sell directly, I can put you in touch with him.
My friend, Joe won the JD truck and two tow trucks. Someone else wanted that JD truck almost as bad as he did.
Sorry bro, closest I have is a 1971 Riviera GS (gold with a brown top.) It just got listed. If YOU find a 66 Lark or a 66 LarkGS let ME know! LOL:laugh:
I just finished listing a bunch more. I've got three more boxes or so. I''ll be listing them next week. I try to time the listings for sundays at 12:15pm
Due to work, I wasn't able to list any last week. I'm only listing a few this weekend as I have a lot going on this weekend too. A Danbury Mint 1:24 1950 Divco "Bordens" milk truck; a 1:24 Franklin Mint 1924 Bugatti Type 35 Grand Prix (BEAUTIFUL CAR); a 1/18 Road Signatures 1959 Buick Electra 225 Indy Pace car I won't be able to list any more than that today. More next week though.
Thanks buddy! :TU: I'll be getting more up this weekend. Heh, Had a lady return a 62 Thunderbird sports coupe because: "The door handles are broken of and there's a big scratch on the roof." ??? I take it out of the box and the scratch is actually a tiny bit of paint the same color as the car. There were no door handles as it was part of the trim with a push button.ou: And for some reason, everyone who keeps buying the WWII german Mercedes officer car is from overseas and then freaks on the $50 or so S/H. Duh. It ain't light. :Smarty:uzzled:
I'm not on Ebay, but I like the Divco. When I was a kid, we had milk delivered by Joppe's Dairy. If I remember correctly, they used Divco's.
ok. Got two more boxes worth up on Evilbay. The list time was at 2pm today. I "love" how people complain about the cost sometimes. Do these idiots realize boxes, peanuts, S/H, all costs $$? Not to mention the time to take pics and post all of it. It takes an average of two & 1/2 days to pic and post one box. The only reason I'm doing this is because I have no need of them. Or the space. I've kept a couple I thought were really cool. But hell, my $ per hour is way higher when I'm carving.
The last box will be listed on Ebay Sunday at 2pm. If I can get all the pics taken and listed by then. Listing an item or two on Ebay isn't so bad. listing close to 200 is a PITA tho'. If anybody is interested I've a 1/18 1964 Buick Riviera by Highway 61. NIB and no damage to the box. The Riv, unopened, is going for between $149 and $325. Link to a Riv exactly like mine: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HIGHWAY-61-...83630?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item19f9f0b2ee An link w/excellent pics out of the box: http://www.diecastxchange.com/forum1/topic/58547-1964-buick-riviera-highway-61/ I also have a 1/18 Ertl "Grandes Marques" 1938 Buick Y-Job, Harley Earl's personal car going up too. The Y-Job goes for (asking) about $90. A previous Ebay sale (for pics): http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-1-18-E...96844?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item2a491f07ec If someone on here wants one or both, make me an offer. I'm not expecting to get 150, much less $325, for a diecast.:laugh::laugh: At any rate, there it is. Although those two above aren't all, just the Buicks I haven't listed yet.
Had a long night last night. So I'm still listing items through this afternoon/evening. So if you're interest, check back.
