Is there a way to find what car this engine did come from? Story behind it is the husband and wife had a 69 stage1 convertible. She had no idea until his passing, there was this engine. It was a gift from her for helping her sell the 69. It is a PR code 68 400, but am curious did this just come out of an average car or a 68 GS. The stamping between 1&3 are as follows, 8H159511. Any input or help would be greatly appreciated, Thank You!
It’s either a GS400 or a Sportwagon 400; those are the only two bodies Buick put 400s in. PR could be either one. You could add the first five digits of the four possible cars and search (44637, 44667, 44455, 44465). Maybe find a hit out there in the world. Link your post in ‘Lost and Found’, too. Patrick
