Has anyone done the ls1 brake conversion using the set 9 axle bearings with the seal at the outer part of the axle?

it’s pretty easy with the sealed bearing axle with the inner seal but not so much with the set9.
I have put together a complete front and back setup Reman red OEM PBR calipers, blue hawk pads, front mount brakets and bolts, rear 4th gen brake hats and brackets, backing plate spacers, new e brake cables for the conversion all nicely powdercoated and custom spacers To fit inside the hat for the axle Made at a machine shop for the back to make it all work. But not for the set9.

If no one has done it then I will probably need to sell this amazing setup and go with a much more expensive option that will not be much different lol.
    Any help thanks

I install rear disc kits on the SET9 rearends a lot. Yes,some are fancy and expensive, like the Baer kits, but there are plenty of them that are under $500.00
What does your bracket look like for your kit?

It’s not a bought kit. I have pieced it together. I had a split collar spacer made to take up the space from f body brake hat and to locate the axle from moving in and out. However being the set 9 bearing with the seal at the outer end of the axle it needs a special face like the stock axle retainer plate and to be a different thickness than the sealed bearing And axle seal inside the axle tube

KORE3 makes one for the c5/c6 calipers and will require me to to buy all new rotors, other calipers all around, front mount brackets, rear backing plates and So on.
I can sell what I have as it is all science out And will be awesome, but if someone has machined one before for this apicAtion it would be great. Other option is pull the rear end back out and take to machine shop to have them make one as it has to be very precise to avoid axle
    In and out movement

    Well this sounds familiar.
Check my 'Member's Rides' thread and see what Tobin at Kore3 did for me..
We used a combination kit and he machined the caliper bracket to fit over the stock retainer. The biggest issue was the new seal being .020 too thin. New retainers from Inline Tube and some filing on the axle flange fixed that.

Ya I did ordered it up then realized part of my problem was the axle seal was not pushed in all the way so I thought my spacer would not work I could not tell because it was hidden by the f body hat. So sending it back the width of my spacer is perfect but I also put a beveled edge on the side facing the seal to avoid crushing the crown.
