Here's a short vid of my '70 Buick GS that I purchased from board member Rich Johns back in Nov. on a cool afternoon as we got it ready to put away into winter storage. Everyone loves the sound of the exhaust! Spring can't come soon enough for us to get it out and be ready to go cruising and to the track and have some fun with our other Atlantic Canadian Buick friends! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bk1zJFgSDY
Jeff, Your are less than an hour from Saint John. Next time I get to Moncton I'd love to stop in & meet you, see your car. Another member in Sussex Corner, couple more scattered around.
Hi Steve, I think we might have chatted on the phone a few yerars ago as I have the glass shop business in Sussex Corner, so that would be me! You'll have to bring your car up to the cruise night @ the shop this summer, most all of the Valley Cruisers come and a lot from Moncton and here as well, last year we had close to 100 cars that night and raised some $$$ for the local food banks also with our charity BBQ. I plan to get down to some of the cruise nights in in KV and the boardwalk this summer as well. And of course theres always the Atlantic Nationals!
Jeff, I'm looking forward to it. I know a couple guys in the Valley Cruisers. Jeff ?? has an '86 El Camino. His dad is still out West & working on a mid'60's Wildcat. I thought there was another fellow in Sussex area. He posted here about a month ago. '74-75 Apollo was damaged in a garage fire. He bought another, think it was a red hatchback. This you also?
Nice car, Rich does great work.. Just one note.. Never rev a BBB like that, unless it's fully warmed up.. it's murder on the distrib gear, which drives the oil pump. The idle speed of the car lead be to beleive that it wasn't fully warmed up when you did that, and I was sitting here going.. OOOOHHH don't do that.. JW
Thanks for the tip Jim! I've waited a long time for a car like this so your advice will be followed, the folks on here are the best!
The fellow with the Apollo lives in Dieppe, up Moncton way. Nice to see he got a great replacement to take the place of the fire damaged one he was working on.
