My dad sprayed that car back in 84. It's a old lacquer paint job that he made up. He was just mixing a bunch of toners until he found the color he liked. He calls it blackcherry. She's holding up pretty well, he never drives her.
Mine is 67 Riviera Charcoal Grey; I saw a Riv this color and decided to re-paint this one grey instead of R-R as the tag shows. ---------- Post added at 04:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:34 AM ---------- Sharp, clean installation. I went 455/th400 in my Special Wagon, my projects take longer than the LS engine has been around
WOW! I want to see more of this one. Mine is also Black Cherry that I custom blended. I may have to put my wheel well and rocker trim on after seeing this pic. Very Nice. That is a great replacement for a V6. Very impressive.
Here is another pic of my dads 65 gs convertible and also his 65 gs hardtop. The hardtop still is original paint. /i978.photobucket.com/albums/ae270/66NAILHEAD/0622131301_zps300ddf84.jpg[/IMG]"]
