We need to get a 25 lap race going, with the camera up above in an arial view, and start running bets on which car will win!

We used to call them Slot Cars, there was a commercial storefront place that had huge tracks in it.You would pay a small fee to race your cars.
That was years ago of course, when I was a wee tyke

There are a couple of commercial slot car tracks left over here. The tracks are tremendous! There was a place that had a 220 foot "Engleman" which was a favorite of mine because of the long straightaway.

I have about 7 vintage style 1/25th scale cars including a 66 Wildcat. The chassis I use is a brass pan with the motor mounted up front with a driveshaft, universal joint and a pinion bearing! Because of the way the engine is mounted, the car can run a full interior. They spend mosty of their time on the shelf lately. I still have my yellow metalflake controller

I was waiting for that! Thats the shutoff for the spinkler system. The handle for the ball valve broke. I didnt feel like ripping down that awesome 1980's paneling down to access the pipe. So I fixed it the way any good mechanic would- Vice Grips! Works like a charm. Occasonally, I'll have to run downstairs to retrieve them when Im working on something in the garage.
