The G60's on my cars are around 10+ years old. They're still soft and no signs of dry rot. What do you think? still good to go?

I'd say if you limit the exposure to sunlight and ozone, they can last longer. No dry rot or cracking? I'd say they are good to go.

just a word of caution. I too would run these but because I did run some old tires well past their useful life I can attest to the fact they can come apart with little notice. Just keep an eye on them for cracks in the sidewall and between the treads. If you feel a vibration make sure you check it out immediately:puzzled:

They don't need to be cracked or showing any sign of wear to come apart. Do a Google search on tire life & you will see that many proclaim that your tires are already past their shelf life of 8 years.

Years ago I bought a very nice 1972 Cutlass S that was a total right off thanks to a blown rear tire while merging onto the express way. The tires were all 10 years old & looked perfect. Internet search will reveal countless stories like this one.

Ask yourself if the safety of your car & passengers including you is worth the cost of new tires then carry on.
