    Love the Thunderbolts! Something about those old factory drag cars gets me every time.

    Kent I feel the same way about those old drag cars! Them big Pontiac drag cars always catch my eye and demand a second look!!

    Not sure what intake it has on it. It is a dual quad 427. Can't remember if it's a high riser or a medium. I know it's not exactly the same motor that was in the "real" Thunderbolts. But the guys at the shop built it as close to the originals as they could.

    We still have two guys at the shop that worked on the the original 100 or so that they built.

    I really loved the Thunderbolts.They looked mean and nasty and sounded even more so. I remember seeing one race the indoor drags in the Amphitheater in Chicago. 1/8 mile on concrete floor and then through a doorway through the wall at the end. The local Ford dealer had one that I would see a lot until it was stolen. Taken from the shop, trailer and all.
