Anyone that wants to come is welcome .Weather looks to be sunny and 63 degrees as of now. Lets get a last fun day in before the end of the season .The track always seems to hook well and its a good chance to set a new personal best .

Ironically a buddy asked me several days ago. I just haven't posted here. While I don't have any cars ready, the munson-mobile may come out. I should know more later this week.

I just read a post from Tim Ringer on Facebook. He said that this year's schedule is over. BUT....at the end of his note he does say that if we do get great weather in November they MAY open the gates.....

We had a good time at the track today .We all ran good numbers 2 set personal bests .The weather was great other than the headwind early in the day . The Munson mobile kept getting faster and resetting personal bests even had another driver making some passes Chris .Mike Lee ran well but not as fast as he did at MIR last week in that great air .He sure can drive that 4 speed with consistency .Jim Lerum set a new personal best 12.07 at 114+ after a couple 12 teen passes .A quick parts change late in the day made the 12.07 happen . To bad we didn't try it before the jet change that made it a bit to rich . I went a 12.23 off the trailer and went right back up and went 12.11 then spun every pass after.
We all agreed in the spring we need to get a bunch of us back out for a track rental day .:3gears:

yes, what a great time. air was roughly in the 600s then slowly rose and topped out about 1100. (If only they let us run at about 9am, when the air was 171ft)

Kevin in the munson mobile, right off the trailer, 13.46 @ 101, shaving a tenth off his best at Stanton. In fact his first four runs were all better than what he did at Stanton, with the best being 13.43 and a best 60ft of 1.99. Then I got to flog the car. It was a little odd since there was no third peddle   Plus I haven't driven it in years, so after some quick pointers, my first pass was 13.74, manually shifting from 1st to drive :Dou:. Hmm, right back around, hit all gears, 13.55 @ 101, a hundreth off the best he did at Stanton. We tried a few other things but eventually ran into a couple issues, not enough fuel so it was nosing over in 3rd and the anti-spin in the 3:91 rear I'm letting him use is going out. But all in all a great day.

I'm all for a spring rental of the track as I'll have the Poncho back and hopefully a few tweaks completed.
