First off... I had a 98 SS, the first year of the LS1 Camaro's and wish I still had it today. with 900 miles and no mods I took it to Sears Point and ran 13.5's at 105... Here's the Kill Story.... I'm behind him turing left and simply pass him on his left, no speeding just driving normal. The light ahead turns red and we're both slowiing down and side by side, it turns green when we're both doing about 10MPH.... he hits it then I hit it. By the time I shift to 2nd I'm a full car and a half ahead and into 2nd continu pulling away. Let off at about 60 Cool guy, he rolled down his window and I told him I had the 98 SS. I dont know what mods he had, it was lowered with aftermarket exhaust at mimimum VinMan out.....
