Arp part number 617-2250 is what you need for the 6 shorter bolts used with stage 2 heads, you can then use the original long and short head bolts in the other locations $40 vs $150 for the full ARP set

I tried to find a standard flange head bolt but being 1/2-13 thread the wrench size would be 3/4 and too large to use where needed

I was not able to use my stage1 bolts or studs on my stage 2 heads. some were the same and would have worked, but many wouldn't, I raced ordering the ones that wouldn't and it has almost the same money, then I was going I got the right stuff rather than knowing

Nah the long 3 in the center and the short two on the ends under the cover are the same as the stock iron head bolts, they protrude 3/4 in from the deck just as they do in a stock head. The two short ones also work in two locations on the outside of the head there by the plugs. The other 3 per head are the odd men out, the ARP's are $160 iirc and for little street bruiser are simply not needed.

The stock bolts protrude 3/4" thru a stock head so since the engagement is the same the bolt doesn't care what head its going thru. Gotta be more frugal since I got a mortgage ha
