This is probly not the right place to post but trying to figure out what starter I pulled off my car 1107247024A 31 Delve Remy can I get someone who knows the c Numbers to give me some help thank you
1107247 is for a 1964 and 1965 chevelle and malibu. Not sure what the 02 is, but the 4A31 would be 1964 January 31st.
That's strange maybe I took them down wrong as never had chevy cars in my family always buicks and tons of buick parts and I guess someone could of replaced it before I got the car but if it's not buick I can trade it in for a remanufactured thanks
Most starter rebuilders not concerned with th #s... If by chance you are let me know...989 721 9432 ..jon
Can't be for "Chevrolet AND Pontiac"; they mount on opposite sides of the engine. Buick and Chevy on the right side; Olds and Pontiac on the left.
Just the main body's are used by re-builders. Noses are mostly interchangeable as well as end plates.
N THATSA FACT JACK No need to b shy when txting I played guess who & what starter but didnt send on account of th time...had bet th odds it was 1 th 392 fellerz ...hav so many #s in head th 7247 didnt stick yesterday...th dual application increases your chances...will have driverside cone as doubt ya'll would wear bow ties n certainly not drive one... Could you let me know if its a hi torque starter .....thanks
Your window in time is tighter n a twenty year old Chances of that happenin much less than me winnin lottery n i dont play it Would you considder expanding horizon on that ??
I'm well aware of the fact that the main bodies are generic; however, the part # that he referenced, as fitting Chevy and Pontiac, is for the complete starter assembly, including the nose. That was my point.
Yes I would like more specifics. I know the 1107247 is a low torque starter with series field winding using a housing with a long and a short mounting bolt to fit on the passenger side of the engine. What specific Pontiac model and engine is this starter used on? I would like to thank you in advance for the specific Pontiac model and engine this was made for?
