can you take a column shift steering and convert a non tilt floor column into a tilt steering from the two?
Interesting question. I have gone the expensive way and bought used console tilt columns and had them rebuilt. I will follow the thread to see what other opinions there are. There are several column rebuilders so one of those companies might be able to answer your question.
No. All of the parts are different. If you have a column-shift tilt,and you want to make a floor-shift tilt,there are new reproduction lower bowls available now. They are the longer Chevy/Pontiac style,but they can still work in a Buick with the dash indicator linkage.
